Defining our identity

At the very beginning, every start-up company has to ask itself the same question: What defines us? While professionally this might be easier to answer — offering best-in-class products and customer experience — the corporate identity question is not as easily solved.

A central part of our beginning remains tied to RWTH Aachen University. Our founders Marius Mechlinski and Jie Shen as well as a big part of our team graduated from RWTH Aachen University, still maintaining a close partnership.

Keeping this in mind, Leadrive Technology has been focused on R&D from the very start, aiming to develop cutting edge power electronics electric drive components to promote new energy vehicles. Thus, we derived our slogan and company name from this exact sentiment:

LEAD innovations. DRIVE the future.

As we are a global company, we aim to bridge the distance with frequent communication, data exchange and online meetings. With both German and Chinese employees on each side of the globe, we strongly believe this exchange will benefit our customers and our future development as an international company.
